Media, choices and applications

Carbon Impregnated 80/20 Cellulose/Polyester FR

A new introduction to our range of medias. This media can be used on a number of ATEX applications, with the benefit of increased surface area, to our Anti Static Polyester range. This allows Dust Collectors to cope better with heavy dust loads, whilst allowing manufacturers to install smaller  Dust Collector Units on new installations.
This media is ideal for applications with  an explosion risk, such as :- Stainless Steel Blasting, Wood Cutting, Waste Recycling, Powder Coating, to name a few.

Anti Static PTFE Membrane Polyester 

This media  is specifically designed to cope with applications that have multiple conditions that need to be controlled, whilst still being Anti Static and suitable for Atex applications.

It is abrasive resilient, helps to give good release in damp conditions and where condensation can arise. We would also recommend this media, for dust collectors that are situated in an outside settings and also for dusts that are oily or sticky.

Anti Static Polyester 260g Bico

This is our tried and tested staple media for ATEX Applications. It is abrasive resilient, gives excellent dust release and is suitable for most combustible dusts.

Nano Coated 80/20 Cellulose/Poly Flame Retardant

This media has become , more widely used over the last few years, with demands for lower emissions. It is used for controlling very fine dust and fume and has excellent dust release.
We would recommend this media for  Laser and Plasma cutting, welding fume, Thermal spraying  and  applications producing finer dusts.
